Dave Dort
Matthew DeShane
Tyler Needham
I would like to encourage all our new brothers (as well as those who have been around a while) to attend our monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at the hall. We start at 7 p.m. with the rosary and then go directly into our meeting. If you have not been there in a while, consider this your invitation to come and join us.
The new AED is purchased and at the hall. I hope we never have to use it, but it is nice knowing we now have this available if an emergency does arise. Remember the first step is to always call 9-1-1!
On Wednesday, Nov. 23, we will have our Potluck in the hall for our K of C version of Thanksgiving. Let’s make some delicious fall items to share with everyone. Instead of cooking a full meal at home the night before Thanksgiving, just make one dish to share and come join us.
Every Wednesday the hall is open for a Potluck meal and book drawing. Weekly drawings are $1 to sign the book and monthly is $5. Bring a side dish and join us on Wednesdays. Doors open at 6 p.m., eat at 7 p.m. If you cannot make Wednesday, the lounge is also open Mondays and Fridays starting at 6 p.m. All drawings are now active. Stop in, sign the books, and join us for a drink.
I am looking into having a Euchre Tournament and Chili Cook-off Fundraiser in January 2023. Exact date to be determined, but start talking to your family and friends to see who may be interested in playing and/or cooking. Sign-ups will be available once we pick a date.
Keep reading below to learn about upcoming meetings, events, and service projects.
The next time you’re at the hall check out the TV in the back corner. We have a running list of dates and events on the screen to remind everyone of what is going on.
Be good everybody,
Steve Dort, Grand Knight
